BlackRock Partners With Coinbase To Offer Crypto for Institutional Investors

The largest asset manager in the world and one of the most prominent crypto exchanges have partnered to offer cryptocurrency to institutional investors. The partnership has caused a jump in prices and confidence in Coinbase as well as the broader digital asset market following the recent bear market and decline in prices that have plagued the space this year.

  • The partnership will offer crypto to institutional investors through Coinbase Prime
  • Coinbase opened up 31% with over 25 million shares traded in the opening hour
  • Mutual customers of Coinbase and BlackRock’s investment management platform Aladdin will have access to crypto trading, prime brokerage, reporting capabilities, and custody
