Despite a successful and smooth transition to Proof-of-Stake, Ethereum’s price has fallen over 25.1% over the last week as the merge behaved like a “by the rumor sell the news” event. It may take time for the market to realize the upgrades the merge introduced; however, the event has placed the network and native asset in a favorable position to benefit with better fundamentals if the market corrects its downward course.
