Ethereum Completes Crucial Update Ahead of The Merge

The Bellatrix upgrade went live on Ethereum’s Beacon Chain bringing the network one step closer to its long-anticipated merge and complete transition from a proof-of-work consensus mechanism to a proof-of-stake one. The last upgrade and final transition are expected to occur in less than a week.
