BNB Chain Resumes Network Following $100 Million Hack

On 6 October 2022, BNB was forced to suspend their network on the heels of a cross-chain bridge exploit which enabled attackers to drain over $100 million worth of cryptocurrency. The chain has now resumed activity, announcing that it will hold numerous on-chain governance votes to prevent similar attacks in the future.
