Enjin was established in 2009 as an Ethereum based platform for Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). Enjin focusses on NFT’s for video game items such as cars, weapons or mythical potions which can be tokenised and distributed to users. The project is essentially decentralising in game items. Enjin allows game developers to create and integrate NFT’s into games using the Enjin Minting Panel, which can then be bought and sold on Enjin Marketplace. The native token of the Enjin Protocol is the Enjin Token or ENJ; a unique ERC-1155 token that allows the issuance of both fungible and nonfungible items.
The token can be used to mint or create new ENJ’s and is a reward for melting NFT’s and has a maximum supply of 100 million tokens. The project also has the Enjin wallet where users can buy sell and hold NFTs. A wide variety of games have already integrated Enjin NFT’s including 9Lives Arena, Aldian Legends and Zeal with the future potential to capture many new titles.
